This tour was an immersive journey into Japan's rich cultural heritage. Takayama's preserved old town offered a glimpse into Edo-period life, while Shirakawa-go's iconic gassho-zukuri farmhouses were a sight to behold. The guide was knowledgeable and provided insightful commentary throughout the day.

The bus was comfortable, spacious, and on time, and the guide was thoughtful and well-organized, helping us see much more than we could have on our own. I wished for more English information, it was still a great experience. The buffet was fine, but the highlights were the Herbal Garden and Farm Tomita—the flower fields and scenery made the trip absolutely worthwhile. Overall, an efficient and enjoyable day I’d recommend.
